Matt Schofield "Blues Guitar Artistry" DVD released
21st August 2010
At the tail end of last year, we were delighted to be asked to record and mix the audio for a Matt Schofield instructional DVD. The shoot was produced by US3 at Miloco's "The Pool" studio in London, and features Matt discussing and demonstrating a variety of guitar concepts, both solo and with his band, and jamming around a few tunes as well. Well worth a look for any guitarist seeking some insight into Matt's incredible playing. The DVD is available now in North America from the Hal Leonard Corporation, or in the UK from the Nugene Records website.
Orange Rockcorps with Snoop Dogg and Vampire Weekend, tomorrow on Channel 4
16th July 2010
Look out for the first of the Orange Rockcorps 2010 shows on Channel 4, Saturday 17th July at 9am. It's a one-hour special from Manchester Apollo, featuring Snoop Dogg, Vampire Weekend, Tinie Tempah and Mr Hudson. We sound-supervised and tracked the show on our MADI-based rig, then mixed the performances over two days back in London.
Orange Rockcorps is an international scheme where volunteers donate at least four hours of their time to assist with community projects, and in return earn themselves a ticket to an exclusive gig. A second UK show takes place in London later this year.

Feels like we only just got back from our whirlwind tour of the UK with TopMan CTRL, and already the first show hits Channel 4 this Friday night at 12.15am. Programme one features The Futureheads and We Have Band, live from the Other Rooms in Newcastle. Other highlights to watch out for over the next five Fridays include Yeasayer, Darwin Deez, Everything Everything and Miike Snow.
